bloggingguide.substack.com
As a blogger, writing error-free articles is extremely important. Blog posts that are riddled with errors will get ridiculed by readers. This can lead to your content not being taken seriously, as well as a high bounce rate. Recently, Grammarly has become a popular tool used by many bloggers to eliminate grammar and spelling errors.
hi Casey I use Grammarly and find it invaluable - particularly around the use of the passive voice which I am rather prone to do :). I also use the free version of the http://www.hemingwayapp.com. - it is much more ruthless and what I like about it us the highlighting of overuse of adverbs and the difficult to read sentences. I only started my Substack newsletter The Sunny Optimist four weeks ago and I find my confidence is growing to trust my own instincts and not always following the suggestions. Cheers Ann Roberts
Great article, Casey. I wondered what Grammarly was and how it would work. You explained it all in simple language, and I appreciate it. Thanks.
