hi Casey I use Grammarly and find it invaluable - particularly around the use of the passive voice which I am rather prone to do :). I also use the free version of the http://www.hemingwayapp.com. - it is much more ruthless and what I like about it us the highlighting of overuse of adverbs and the difficult to read sentences. I only started my Substack newsletter The Sunny Optimist four weeks ago and I find my confidence is growing to trust my own instincts and not always following the suggestions. Cheers Ann Roberts
