Casey - great article. Curious - would you post your (free) substack newsletters ALSO on Medium? I do a weekly newsletter that compiles articles that may be helpful to my audience and wondering if that would make sense to repost on Medium to grow subscriptions?

Yes, I think reposting Substack content on Medium would work. The only thing to consider is if you are posting content that would otherwise be paid (on Substack) on Medium (essentially for free). This might be the one issue. But if your newsletter is free or you are not looking at reposting subscriber only content, then Medium will work well as a content syndication tool. Just make sure you set the canonical link to your Substack article, for SEO purposes. https://medium.com/blogging-guide/understanding-canonical-links-and-medium-article-seo-for-your-blog-or-website-25a5afe2b71c

Your writing is so valuable and insightful Casey. I'm working on a contract with them and I'd love to do a 10min video IV with you about your experience on Substack and where you'd like to take your stack. Keen?

Hey Casey, this is a great resource, thank you. One thing you didn't explain is how did you create the "subscribe" button (just above) that includes a space to enter the subscriber's email in the button?
