There are BIG changes coming to Medium
Medium Platform Update-Newsletter Layout, Background Color, Infinite Scroll, and more!
As some of you may be aware, there are some big changes coming to Medium. Medium announced that there will be a public beta to test these new features on select publications.
What was not revealed in that blog post was that some of the potential changes are already live on a couple of invite-only private beta testers.
Luckily, several of my publications were invited to participate, giving me an early look at some of the potential new features and larger structural changes that are occurring on the platform.
Unlike some previous product updates, this beta will impact most writers in a significant way.
While I won’t divulge anything I’m not supposed to, I can draw inferences on how authors can or should prepare for the potential change.
At a minimum, I can highlight the new features already mentioned by Medium in their own post (features that are already live on my publications).
