Newsletter Name Change & Expanded Scope of Covered Content

Exciting updates and new bonus content!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to give you a quick update.

I have decided to change the name of my newsletter from Medium Blogging Guide to Blogging Guide.

It’s not a huge change, but I just wanted to address it so that there was no confusion.

I made this change because many of you have been requesting articles that cover making money writing online, across multiple digital platforms (as opposed to just Medium).

And the underlying theme of what I am trying to do is help writers succeed in the digital landscape. So it made sense to consolidate the information here, in one place.

I had thought about trying to partition the content into different newsletters/publications/courses, but in the end, most Medium writers will find this additional information useful and I don’t want anyone to have to pay more, so I decided to add it here free of charge.

To be clear—I am still going to be discussing Medium earnings, tips, formatting, etc. as I have been. That will never change. And I will still be running (what has recently become) the largest Medium-related Facebook Group!

But I will be adding some extra content to this newsletter, covering other online writing platforms, such as Substack, WordPress, HubPages, and more!

I will also be including content aimed at helping writers with social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing (this was always the plan and is not new, but I will now make sure that this content encompasses strategies across multiple platforms).
